The Gamma Iota Chapter of Theta Xi is built on the belief that brotherhood is a catalyst for growth, leadership, and lifelong opportunity. Our chapter provides committed and driven men with an environment that develops leaders through responsibility, accountability, and service—both on campus and beyond.
As undergraduates, our members gain real-world leadership experience through the chapter's daily operations, involvement in Embry-Riddle student organizations, and partnerships with civic and community groups across Arizona. These experiences, paired with high academic standards, prepare our brothers to excel in demanding professional environments while building a foundation of integrity and service.
Embry-Riddle’s uniquely diverse student body exposes our members to peers from across the United States and more than 20 countries worldwide. This global perspective strengthens our brotherhood and prepares our members to lead in an increasingly interconnected world.
Gamma Iota brothers go on to achieve success across a wide range of fields, including aviation, engineering, defense, business, entrepreneurship, and beyond. From regional and legacy airlines to small businesses and multinational corporations, our alumni consistently demonstrate the leadership and professionalism cultivated during their undergraduate years.
Theta Xi also maintains a strong tradition of military service. A significant number of our undergraduate and alumni brothers commission through the U.S. Air Force ROTC and U.S. Army ROTC programs at Embry-Riddle, serving as pilots, engineers, and commanders around the world. We are proud to support our active-duty members, veterans, and their families.
The Gamma Iota Alumni Association exists to preserve our chapter’s legacy while actively investing in its future. Representing more than 400 brothers across 36 states and three countries, the Alumni Association serves as a lifelong connection to the values, relationships, and opportunities formed during our undergraduate experience.
Our mission is to support both alumni and the undergraduate chapter through mentorship, professional networking, scholarships, and financial stewardship. By strengthening ties between generations of brothers, we ensure Gamma Iota continues to thrive as it adapts to the challenges of a changing world.
The Alumni Association works closely with undergraduate leadership to provide guidance, institutional knowledge, and resources that enhance the chapter’s long-term stability and success. At the same time, we foster meaningful engagement among alumni—creating opportunities to give back, stay connected, and continue growing as leaders and professionals.
Gamma Iota is more than a college experience—it is a lifelong brotherhood. Through the combined efforts of our undergraduates and alumni, Theta Xi continues to build men of character who lead with purpose, serve with humility, and uphold the values of our fraternity long after graduation.
